Electric Dollar Store
Electric Dollar Store is an experiment in selling very low price modular I²C components.
We are in the USA. The circuit boards are made in China to our designs, and we test, package, and ship them from here in California. The firmware-based modules ( pot, remote, dig2, beep and led ) use the automotive-grade EFM8BB1 micontroller from Silicon Labs.
All our modules are a standardized size and design. They use I²C to make connection simple. This keeps costs down, and means that you can use the modules interchangeably in your design.
This project is run by Excamera Labs. The Excamera Labs weekly newsletter has more information.
